Who Can Get Help?
You may receive assistance if you qualify for the CVC Program and the crime caused new child or dependent care expenses. Care may be for:
- Minor victims
- Dependents of victims
How Much Can the CVC Program Cover?
Compensation is limited to $300 per week per child or dependent for crimes after July 14, 2016. For crimes before this, different limits may apply.
The CVC Program may provide up to 52 weeks of care starting from the date of the crime.
How Do I Receive Compensation for Child and Dependent Care?

- Care provider’s license or registration

- Provider’s contact info on company letterhead
- Child care assistance program approval documentation
- Choose Your Payment Option: You can choose to be reimbursed for services or have the CVC Program pay the provider directly.
